In airborne sports, a helmet plays an essential role in safety, and this can be enhanced by an integrated communications system comprising earphones, microphone and the respective electronics and radio equipment.
There is no space for improvisation: an independent headset with headband worn under a helmet is prohibited by the EN 966 standard because it invalidates the helmet’s impact protection. Any headset should always be fixed to the helmet’s shell.
According to your requirements – ear protectors, microphones, earphones, control switches, cables, connectors, radio – we can fit your helmet with equipment of the finest quality.
We recommend our own IC2 headsets, state-of-the-art products that ensure comfort, practical use and durability.
We can also supply communications equipment by Loescher. If you wish to use an ANR Bose headset, please see the

to discuss your communications requirements and we will be pleased to advise and supply the most suitable equipment, fitting it to the helmet of your choice.

Any type of headset must always be attached to the helmet’s outer shell.
This is absolutely necessary for E.N. 966 certification.
In fact, the E.N. 966 standard prohibits wearing a headset with headband under the helmet.
This arrangement would never meet the impact protection requirements.
Your head would no longer be correctly protected!
